Toshiba's MW27FPI 27-inch Tri-Play combo unit offers superior audio/video performance with its enhanced DVD-Video player, four-head hi-fi VCR, and stereo TV with two side firing speakers (2.5 watts per channel). The device also features an innovative cabinet design to house the enhancements. Toshiba's Tri-Play TV/DVD/VCR combination products take full advantage of available home entertainment options, giving users the ultimate in viewing convenience. Users may choose to watch a DVD movie, for instance, while recording a favorite television program, all in one simple operation. Best of all, Toshiba's Tri-Play units feature a digital audio output, allowing an easy connection to a Dolby Digital or DTS system for powerful home theater surround sound. In addition, the MW line of Tri-Play TV combination products offer consumers multiple audio and picture options with DVD, CD, CD-R/RW, MP3, DVD-R, and VCD playback capabilities and a JPEG viewer. The TV combo units also feature Picture Preference mode, which offers the consumer customizable picture quality by providing four selections (standard, sports, movie, and memory) to optimize the viewing experience. The units also feature a redesigned graphical user interface (GUI) developed for ease of navigation, along with FST Pure flat tubes for improved picture quality. The FST Pure screen (with a 4:3 aspect ratio) provides greater edge detail and a wider viewing angle so viewers can sit practically anywhere in a room and still enjoy a crystal clear image. Other user-friendly features include a V-Chip, sleep timer, front A/V jacks, an illuminated remote control, and a coaxial digital input. The unit measures 29.13 by 19.41 by 25.4 inches (W x H x D) and weighs 97 pounds.
