With the Archos DVR100 Digital Video Recorder and one of the new generation Audio Video Jukeboxes from Archos (Models AV320, AV340, AV120, or AV140), you can record video and playback wherever you are. You have a complete solution in the palm of your hand. Click the DVR100 onto your Jukebox and record directly from your VCR, DVD or camcorder (records TV thru VCR or DVD connection) into MP4. To make recording even easier a remote control is supplied with the DVR100. What you will playback is an AVI format file with MPEG4-SP VHS quality video and MP3 stereo sound. This type of file can be played anywhere on the built-in color LCD of your Jukebox, or on a larger size screen by connecting your Jukebox to a TV or video projector. While a standard tape can only hold 2-4 hours of video, your Jukebox has a 40 hours capacity (depending on resolution chosen and on capacity of the Jukebox' hard disk). More than enough to enjoy your favorite movies while on the move or, to take video information with you for your work. When connected to a computer your Jukebox will be mounted as an additional external hard disk. This allows you to transfer videos to and from your computer or even the internet. The USB 2.0 connection included with the Jukebox enables ultra-fast transfers. Explore this advanced add-on for work and play.
