Set yourself up to enjoy just about any current media format with JVC's versatile HR-XVC20U combination DVD player and VCR. With MP3/WMA and JPEG image CD playback and hi-fi VHS performance, the unit is built to satisfy all music and home-theater needs. The HR-XVC20U plays DVD and multiple CD formats. It's easy to enjoy cutting-edge DVDs alongside an existing library of videocassettes. The unit even offers an RF output for use with older TVs that lack composite-video inputs. With S-VHS quasi playback, you'll be able to watch (in regular VHS resolution) tapes recorded in Super-VHS, normally only compatible with more expensive S-VHS machines. A set of left/right analog-audio outputs channels audio to Dolby Pro Logic receivers and stereo televisions. Both Dolby Digital and DTS 5.1-channel surround-sound signals can be routed through the player's digital-audio outputs (one each of RCA coaxial and Toslink optical) for direct connection to a full-featured audio/video receiver. Supplied accessories include a composite-video/stereo analog-audio interconnect, instruction manual, and a multi-brand remote control that operates the combo player and most televisions.
