The convenient and affordable DV6T811N is not only a DVD and VCR player, but it also has built-in MP3 decoding and outputs for both NTSC and PAL video formats, so you can view non-region-encoded media from overseas. A set of left/right analog-audio outputs channels audio to Dolby Pro Logic receivers and stereo televisions. Both Dolby Digital and DTS 5.1-channel surround-sound signals can be routed through the player's digital-audio outputs (one each of RCA coaxial and Toslink optical) for direct connection to a full-featured audio/video receiver, and the unit decodes Dolby Digital surround sound to accommodate receivers without onboard decoding (this requires a six-channel analog input, though). A 96 kHz/24-bit digital-to-analog converter ensures optimal decoding of all disc formats, and 3-D sound simulates a surround effect using any two speakers. VCR features include DVD one-touch recording (for non-region-encoded discs) and one-touch timer recording (OTR) for capturing your favorite TV shows. The unit's six-head design ensures smooth slow-motion play (forward and reverse) and clear still-frame images. With hi-fi sound, the DV6T811N records and plays back stereo audio tracks. It has one composite-video and one S-video output. Supplied accessories include a composite-video/stereo analog-audio interconnect, an instruction manual, and an integrated remote control.
